A detail scan is one of the most important pregnancy scans. It gives a clear picture of your baby’s growth and development, helping to ensure everything is forming normally.

What the Detail Scan Checks
• Baby’s head, brain, heart, kidneys, spine, arms, and legs• Placenta position and cord connection
• Amniotic fluid level and baby’s movements
• Baby’s size, growth, and estimated weight
Why the Detail Scan Is Important
The detail scan helps your doctor check that your baby is growing well and that all major organs are developing as they should.It also allows early detection of certain conditions so that proper monitoring and care can be arranged if needed.
