Antenatal Care & Pregnancy Scans

Pregnancy is one of the most meaningful seasons in a woman’s life — filled with excitement, love, and a little uncertainty. Each heartbeat and every scan brings you closer to meeting your baby.

At Klinik Caring, Impian Emas, we walk with you through every stage of your pregnancy. Our goal is to help you feel confident, informed, and cared for — from your first positive test to the day you hold your baby in your arms.

Led by experienced women doctors, our antenatal care combines medical expertise with education and empathy. We take time to explain your results and guide you through each milestone.

Why Antenatal Care Matters

Good antenatal care helps protect both mother and baby.
Regular check-ups allow us to:
  • Monitor your baby’s growth and heartbeat
  • Detect early signs of pregnancy-related conditions
  • Track blood pressure, sugar, and blood count
  • Support nutrition and overall well-being
  • Prepare you for delivery and postnatal care
Our antenatal services are structured so you always know what to expect and when to come in — no guessing, no rushing, just steady, reassuring care.

Early Pregnancy & First Trimester (6–14 weeks)

Dating Scan (Pregnancy Confirmation Scan)
Your first scan confirms that the pregnancy is developing safely in the womb. We check for the baby’s heartbeat, estimate your due date, and look for multiple pregnancies such as twins. Done at 6–10 weeks, this scan gives you reassurance and a clear starting point for your journey.

Nuchal Scan (First Trimester Screening)
Performed between 11 and 14 weeks, this scan measures the clear space behind your baby’s neck — called nuchal translucency — to screen for chromosomal conditions like Down Syndrome. It also checks early organ development and growth.

NICC Test (Non-Invasive Chromosomal Check)
A safe blood test that analyses your baby’s DNA to detect common genetic conditions such as Down, Edwards, and Patau syndromes. It provides high accuracy without any risk to you or your baby.

Second Trimester (14–28 weeks)

Detail Scan (20–24 weeks)
This is the most detailed ultrasound of your pregnancy. The doctor checks your baby’s organs, limbs, spine, brain, and heart to ensure proper growth and structure. It’s also a good time to find out your baby’s gender if you wish.

MGTT (Diabetes Test in Pregnancy)
Between 24 and 28 weeks, we check how your body processes sugar to detect gestational diabetes early. The test involves fasting overnight, drinking a glucose solution, and taking two blood samples. Early detection protects both mother and baby from complications.

Third Trimester (28–40 weeks)

Growth Scan (2nd and 3rd Trimester)
This scan tracks your baby’s growth, position, amniotic fluid level, and heartbeat in later pregnancy. It helps detect whether your baby is growing well or if closer monitoring is needed.

5D Scan (24–32 weeks)
A special bonding experience where you can see your baby’s face and movements in lifelike detail — smiling, yawning, or stretching. Each session includes one printed colour photo and soft copies of all photos and clips to take home.

Routine Tests & Preventive Care

Antenatal Test (Blood & Urine Screening)
Our antenatal test checks for infections such as HIV, Hepatitis B, and Syphilis, screens your blood group and Rhesus factor, and includes a Full Blood Count (FBC) to detect anaemia.
A urine FEME test is also included to check kidney health and detect early infection.

Tetanus Vaccination During Pregnancy
Tetanus infection can be dangerous for both mother and baby. We provide the tetanus vaccine safely during pregnancy — two doses for the first pregnancy, and one booster dose for later pregnancies.
